What gets written here

Long reads, no script, no sponsor. Sourcing, method, and the gap between what a profile declares and what a person actually does.

What your LinkedIn searches don't tell you

30 September 2026 · 10 min read

02 · One person, by design 02 / 04

The client talks to the person doing the search.

No team, no partner, no subcontractor: one person behind the firm, by structural choice. Trained in literature at the Sorbonne, then in human resources, Pierre-André started recruiting at the turn of the 2000s and spent eighteen years in several firms, on profiles that grew scarcer every year.

He founded Anara in February 2018 with a simple conviction: recruiting deserves better than algorithmic scoring. Independent since, without partners, outside funding or a growth agenda.

He has trained recruiters since 2010, in HR master's programmes, firms and companies: more than two thousand people so far. He has written more than forty long pieces on sourcing and recruiting, mostly in French.

03 · The method 03 / 04

Three profiles in four never declare themselves.

The best candidates are in post and silent. Finding them means reading signals, from what people declare to what they have demonstrably done, and mapping the market before approaching anyone.
